Was " Meet The Browns " Your Favorite Tyler Perry Movie? (1097 hits)

I liked "Meet The Browns", but it wasn't my favorite Tyler Perry movie by far. I thought the story was too predictable, and too shallow. However, I did appreciate the movie and it's positive message.

My favorite movie, however, is "Why Did I Get Married?" As a Black man, I liked the clever dialogue and the unique plot. The all-star cast (Janet Jackson, Malik Yoba, and Tyler Perry himself) did a great job acting, and the story was very realistic.

What do you think?

I also thought that meet the browns was ppredictable and shallow, but it did have it's funny parts and touching moments. I do have to say that my favorite part was the credits. Usually when someone says that, that is really bad, but in this case it's not. Brown was too hilarious, And he truly did make the credits most enjoyable.

I love it, I think Brown was funny but Madea role was too short, because I love Madea. As a black woman I love the message, we have our guard up at first after being hurt. And I can relate because my son father hasn't been in his life. But like in the movie now he has a DAD, a man who want to be apart of his life. I guess that is why I love it.

My favorite Tyler Perry's movie thus far is a toss up between "Why Did I Get Married" and "Madea's Family Reunion". They both touch on great issues.

I thought Meet The Browns was a good movie. However I believe it could have been whole lot better. I expected MUCH MORE from Jennifer Lewis (Vera).

I enjoy Meet the Browns. It seemed somewhat rushed to me. At times I thought I was watching "Love and Basketball" or "Baby Boy" as Tyler will "borrow" a scene in a heartbeat. I'm too excited about the next move "Family that Preys." So far "Married" is my favorite. Favorite scene was of Tyler in the "you give up the I's for Us." Still in awe.

I also agree that meeting the Browns did not have much depth as other movies very predictable and rushed. My favorite was Why did I get married and Daddy's little girls ...
