Question came to me: Are there useful marketing strategies for small business?
Answer: Yes, social media is the big deal now. Businesses use "content marketing" as a way to educate potential clients/customers. The strategy would be:
1. Set up blog - create good content - (That's a workshop all by itself)
2. Set up Facebook page and network your blog over to it
3. Set up Twitter and connect your FB posts to Twitter - ENGAGE!
4. Set up a Youtube channel (can do webinars) and post vids on blog
wash, rinse and repeat..........
The key is to attract an audience that would be interested in what you offer by proving that you are serious about your business by providing good information/value and solutions to their problems.
Before any of this though - listen to what your customers want! Then provide it..........and show them your stuff (your expertise) via social media vehicles.
I do workshops and training on this topic all the time. (see below) Businesses must learn to get some swagger with their social media. It's the best word-of-mouth (or word of mouse) marketing!
