Recruitment Open House (for Teachers)
Sidwell Friends School is a PK-12, co-educational Quaker day school founded in 1883. Cultivating and supporting a diverse community is central to our mission as a Quaker school. This special event will allow teachers to gain a better understanding of our school and our efforts to retain a faculty that is reflective of our diverse student body, at all levels. Information will also be shared about immediate and future teaching vacancies at Sidwell Friends.
Schedule:
5 p.m. Check-in, refreshments, and optional resume review
5:30 p.m. Panel presentation with our current teachers who reflect the diversity of our institution
6:00 p.m. Q&A with current teachers and school administration; employee benefits overview, including professional development opportunities.
7:00 p.m. Optional resume review
7:30 p.m. End of Program
